The Story of the Christ Child and Christmas...

When Rome was a great Empire ruled by Caesar Augustus and Israel was governed by King Herod, in the village of Nazareth lived Joseph and Mary. Joseph was a carpenter and Mary was a young virgin who would become his wife. Mary told Joseph of a dream in which she was visited by an angel who told her she had been chosen to bear the Son of God and his name was to be Jesus.
One day the emperor sent notice that all persons were to register for a new tax. They were instructed to return to the towns of their birth. Joseph and Mary left Nazareth for Bethlehem. Mary who was with child, and close to the birth, rode on a donkey while Joseph walked beside her. They traveled for many days and only rested at night.
When they reached Bethlehem it was night. They looked for a place to rest but there were no empty rooms when they reached the inn. As they were being turned away Joseph mentioned his wife was with child and close to birth. The inn keeper took pity on them and told them of some caves in the nearby hills that shepherds would stay with their cows and sheep.

href="http://ads.addesktop.com/ads/ad291q-map.cgi/ns/v=2.0D/sz=300X250A/kw=KEYWORD/">

So Joseph and Mary went up into the hills and found the caves. In one cave was a stable room. Joseph cleaned it and made beds of fresh hay. He found a feeding trough which he cleaned and filled with hay to use as a crib. The next night Mary gave birth to a son and they named him Jesus, as the angel had said.
When the child was born a great star appeared over Bethlehem that could be seen for miles around. In the fields nearby shepherds were tending their flocks. An angel appeared to them surrounded by bright light. The shepherds were frightened and tried to run.
"Fear Not," said the angel, "For I bring you tidings of great joy. For unto you is born this day in Bethlehem - a Saviour who is Christ the Lord."
"And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."
Suddenly the sky was filled with angels, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the Highest, and on Earth peace, good will toward men."
After the angels departed the shepherds set out for Bethlehem. When they reached the cave they found the stable and inside was the child wrapped in swaddling clothes.
As the star shined over Bethlehem, in the east three kings would see it. They knew it was a sign and they set off to follow the star. There was Caspar - the young King of Tarsus, Melchior - a long bearded old man and leader of Arabia, and Balthazar - the king from Ethiopia. They traveled on camels for many days over the mountains, and through the deserts, and plains. Always following the bright star.
When they finally arrived in Bethlehem they found the child in the manger. The 3 kings bowed to their knees and offered gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. They would stay the night in the cave and the next day returned to their lands to spread the news.

Biography of Megastar, Padmabhushan Chiranjeevi

Childhood

Konidela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad a.k.a. Chiranjeevi, the Megastar of Telugu film industry was born in a missionary hospital at Narsapuram, a village in the West Godavari district on 22nd August 1955. He was born to Shri.Venkat Rao and Smt.Anjani Devi. Chiranjeevi grew up in his native village with his grand parents, while his family was elsewhere because of his fathers occupation. The sense of discipline and hard working, which he still embraces, were introduced at a very young age in his life. The tough childhood he had being the eldest in his family has helped him to handle many such events of higher proportion with great expertise in the later stages of his life. Varaprasad birth time is 10.05 am on Monday 22nd Aug 1955

Career

Dr. Chiranjeevi entered the Telugu film industry with the film Manavoori Pandavulu in 1977, Punnami nagu wherein he played snakecharmer in 1981 gave him very good repute. Meanwhile (between 1977 -81) he played a lot of minor and negative characters in films like Mosagadu, 49 Rojulu, etc. The first real break for him came with the movie Khaidi in 1983. It established Chiranjeevi as an action hero. It gave him the required push to stay on the top along with some more top actors of that time.
With films like Abhilasha (1983), Challenge (1984), Adavi Donga (1985), Raakshasudu (1986), Pasivadi Pranam (1987), Yamudiki Mogudu (1988), Atthaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu (1989) etc he succeeded in establishing a name of his own in the film industry. He was given title of MEGASTAR by his fans with the movie Maranamrudangam (1988).
He won Nandi award for the movie Swayamkrushi (1987), directed by K.Viswanath, one of the legends in Tollywood. His movie Rudraveena (1988) , directed by K.Balachander won him the coveted Nargis Dutt award at the National level.
Chiranjeevi is known for his dancing abilities. He successfully imported the technique of Break Dance from the west and created a trend in the Telugu movie industry.
His winning streak continued into the 90's with films like Kondaveeti Donga (1990), Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari (1990), Kodama Simham (1990), Gang Leader (1991), Rowdy Alludu (1991), and Gharana Mogudu (1992). All these movies worked well at the Box-Office with some creating new records. Then followed a series of flops and disasters with Mechanic Alludu (1993), S.P.Parshuram (1994), Big Boss (1995), Rikshavodu (1995) sinking at the box office. He bounced back with Hitler and Master in 1996-97 and delivered good hits in Choodalani Vundi and Bavagaru Bagunnara.
Later in 2002 Chiranjeevi had one more release, Indra. This film turned out to be a huge hit and became the highest grossing film of that year. He won both the Nandi Award and Filmfare Best Actor Award for the film Indra[1]. Later in 2003, he came out with another block buster "Tagore", an excellent message oriented movie based on the Tamil runaway hit Ramana starring Vijayakanth. This movie again broke all the existing box-office records and turned out to be the highest grosser in Telugu Film Industry. His long-awaited "Anji" released in 2004, but it failed to record the success, despite the high expectations. But with the film Shankardada MBBS (Remake of Munnabhai MBBS), another social message oriented movie, he got another huge hit.
After this film he was again disappointed by the results of movies like Andarivadu and Jai Chiranjeeva an average grosser. He also appeared in a guest role in the film style directed by Raghava Lawrence. However with the film Stalin, another social movie, he bounced back onto the track, although the movie did not meet the huge expecations. Currently his film Shankardada Zindabad released on 27,july,2007,which is the sequel of his previous hit Shankardada MBBS and a remake of the hugely successful Lage Raho Munnabhai. The audio of this movie received good response and the movie is turning out to be an above average grosser.

Charity and services

On October 2, 1998, he founded the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (CCT), which includes Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks. It is the state's largest recipient of Blood and Eye Donations. The Blood Bank of the CCT helped over 80,000 people and the Eye Bank has helped about 1000 people in the state of Andhra Pradesh since its opening.[1]
So far around 3.5 lakh people have pledged their eyes to CCT so far, giving 1600 people eye sight through CCT. CCT has also won the "Best Voluntary Blood Bank Award" by the AP State Government for the past 4 years.
On June 10, 2006, The President of India, Dr. Abdul Kalam, inaugurated the Chiranjeevi Charitable Foundation (CCF) at the Jubilee Hills Check post in Hyderabad.[2]
Recently Chiranjeevi charitable trust has reached another landmark by crossing the one lakh mark in collecting units of blood and more than 96,000 people were helped with blood by this blood bank.

In January 2006, Mr Chiranjeevi was honored with the Padma Bhushan.[3], the third highest civilian award in India. In November 2006, Chiranjeevi was awarded with a honorary doctorate[4] by the Andhra University for his services to the Telugu film industry and for his social work. Tracking down and finding your Soul Mate.....

Sure, we all dream about meeting the right person. . . the one that we are meant to be with forever. Dreaming about it is all fun and easy, but the real question is, where do you find this soul mate of yours? Fate? Well yes, if you believe in fate, then yes, it will have something to do with it, but not without effort on your part. Fate needs you to give it direction so that as a team, you can find the person you have always wanted as a part of your life.

The first thing you have to do before finding your soul mate, is finding yourself. What qualities are important to you? What are your morals and beliefs? How do you show your affection and how do you expect it to be presented to you? These are questions necessary for you to ask yourself before going out there. Giving yourself an interview will make things clearer of what type of person you are really looking for, instead of just going on a blind search.

It is very common for a person to date people just for dating. While dating is a fun and useful experience, it is not advisable to just go out with anyone just to have a date, or to enter a relationship because you do not want to be alone. When you go out on a date, it is important that you use that date as an opportunity to observe and see if the person is someone you would like to see again and if they carry the qualities you are looking for. If, for example, if you are searching for a person who is in touch with his or her romantic side, but go on a date with someone who likes acting rough at baseball games and loves hunting, then you could pretty much see where the relationship would go. You should be able to sense these qualities after a few dates.

Once you have realized that these dates will not lead to a relationship you have dreamed of, then obviously the person is not your dream mate either, and it would be best if you stop seeing each other to prevent any misleading expectations. Continuing to date someone just because you entered a comfort zone or do not want to hurt their feelings will only hold you back from meeting who you are really meant to be with, not to mention waste precious time for both you and your dates. Gently break it to him or her that you find them to be a very interesting and nice person, but you feel like going solo for a while and then move on.

Tracking down your soul mate will require patience; so do not feel frustrated or hopeless if you do not find him or her in a certain amount of time. Good things take time to be brought together and you will come together when the time is right. The time becomes right when you look out for the right signs. Such signs would be:

1. Being strongly attracted to each other physically.
2. Being strongly attracted to each others personalities.
3. Having common interests.
4. Sharing the same values.
5. Major respect for one another.
6. Someone who makes you feel truly special and worthy.
7. Someone who puts in a great effort to show you their passion for you and the things that is important in your life.
8. Meeting on the same emotional levels.

These are some major and important signs to look out for when trying to track down your soul mate. It will not be difficult to realize because you will know when things are right and the way you want it. When you have found such a person, it is good for you to remember to take things one-step at a time. Sometimes people jump in too fast and end up getting hurt or realizing they jumped to conclusions a little too soon. Take it slow and observe how things are going. See if the person who seems to be perfect in every way for you, remains to carry the same qualities as the relationship proceeds.

When time has proven that the two of you are truly compatible in ways you have always dreamed of, then the relationship may go to the next level and the two of you can make a serious commitment and start focusing on building a future together. Like before, it is important that you pay attention to how you handle a commitment together and if you both agree on what kind of future the two of have in mind. Staying on the same levels is a huge sign that you are with the right person.

Finding your soul mate will the best accomplishment you will ever make, but it does not stop there. Finding the right person is just the beginning. Keeping the right person takes work too, on both your parts. The two of you will have to continue valuing each other for the rest of your lives, respecting each others individuality and dreams. Refresh your memory of how the two of were brought together and why you both decided to make a commitment to one another. As long as you keep the magic between you alive, your relationship will continue to grow the love and care you both never imagined could ever happen to you!

Managing the BOSS.....

Over the years, the meaning of the word Boss transformed into referring to a un-understanding superior who mindlessly and aggressively bullies his/her subordinates. Thus, the art and science of managing the Boss is born, nurtured and practiced unabashedly.

The path of least resistance is to cater to the weaknesses of the Boss and put in place a supply chain of free and unending provision of all the good things of life to the Boss at all times. Irrespective of the degree of culture and civilization of the person holding the post of Boss, many of them yield to this temptation of freely getting everything, that too in secrecy, and reward such supply chain subordinate with out of turn promotions..

The other easier method is to organize a twenty four hour eavesdropping service, whereby a particular subordinate does not attend to his/her allotted duties, but keeps tabs on the colleagues; professional and private lives, promptly carrying them to the eager ears of the Boss, The news will always be so juicy, that most Bosses never take the trouble of verifying this second hand information. This gossip siphoning subordinate normally does not get out of turn promotion, but keeps his post irrespective of his performance. These rumour carriers normally blackmail a weak colleague and gets his/her official work done through him/her.

However, every subordinate does not stoop down that low. Even every Boss does not fall for such wiles of cunning and conniving subordinates, though this tribe is alarmingly on the rise these days. As there are different kinds of subordinates, there are as many types of superiors, too. The Bosses can broadly be categorized into eight brands, depending on their attitudes, aptitudes, philosophies and styles of management. An understanding of the Boss, according to his/her style statement and brand, will make the life of the subordinate easier to get on under the Boss and generally improve the ambience of the workplace, thus paving the way for increased productivity. Hereunder, then, are the eight different brands of Bosses

The democratic boss:

A democratic boss is a pleasant boss. He is the one who believes in involving his subordinates in the process of decision-making. He gives a fair hearing to everyone and welcomes suggestions. He may even go the extent of changing his decision if he feels that it is not acceptable to everyone. He respects his subordinates’ feelings and generally avoids ticking them off in public. The democratic boss is easy to tackle and does not need any special handling. But he does not tolerate inefficiency. If you are a lethargic workers, you are likely to be ticked off, anyway. A democratic system of management draws the line at indulgence.

The autocratic Boss:

Although one may feel that one’s boss is an autocrat just because he likes to have his way, this is not the definition of an autocratic boss. An autocratic boss goes much beyond the limitation of enforcing his ideas. He is totally disrespectful of his subordinates’ intelligence. He does not care for the ideas of others. Cohesive working is not his cup of tea. His channel of communication is one, which travels downwards only. He does not believe in checking back on the facts before he fires his subordinates. The only way to deal with an autocratic boss is to allow him to have his way and to look for another job, if you cannot do so, it does not pay to cross swords with him or argue with him. You will have to accept his decisions and carry them out to perfection.

The workaholic boss:

A workaholic boss works like a tireless horse. He does not wear a watch nor does he keep a clock on his table. To him, the setting of the sun does not bring a message. He is wedded to his profession and knows nothing of the world beyond the confines of his cabin walls. He expects his subordinates to leave after he leaves the office. He is prone to assigning tasks at all odd hours and expects them to be completed by the next morning. Working late hours is a habit and an addiction with him. Most often, he has no family life and has scant respect for others. Handling a workaholic boss can be quite tricky. Forget about your wife and children or the appointment you made with your girlfriend. In fact, forget everything except your work and your boss if you want to be in his good books.A workaholic boss is not necessarily heartless. He has his own moods and flashes of benevolence. He will reward you with a promotion or a holiday, if he feels that you have earned it. He will give you everything except time off from work.

The Perfectionist boss:

God help you, if you have this type of a boss. He is a boss who will not accept anything but the best. He is the nit-picking type. Nothing pleases him. He is a tough taskmaster who demands a lot form himself as well as his subordinates. Whether it is the reporting time at work, or the neatness or the quantum, he is a pusher all the way. He drives himself as well as others, forcefully. If you are not able to do a job well, you better look out for another job. There is no place for substandard work as far as this boss is concerned. Work well and you will surely be rewarded handsomely. Try not to fake or fool the boss. A perfectionist is too smart to be fooled.

The weak boss:

One important thing to remember about weak bosses is that they do not like confident and super-efficient subordinates. It is mainly to do with their own feeling of inadequacy. A weak boss can sabotage your career in a very effective manner. He is basically insecure and fearful about his own career. His insecurity does not allow him to accept the confidence of his subordinates. He will pass the buck when something goes wrong and swallow all the credit when things are going well. It is best to be discreet when dealing with a weak boss. Work in tandem with him at the speed and pace set out by him. Keep yourself in the sideline, especially when the top bosses are in town. If you weak boss gets a threat perception, he is surely going to nip your career in the budding stage.

The Indulgent boss:

An indulgent boss likes to treat his subordinates like children. He does not entrust or delegate. He likes to do all the important jobs himself, allotting work piecemeal to others. He is considerate, kind and understanding. He can handle the failures in a realistic manner and generally takes the blame for disasters. He is efficient and quick. He is liberal with his praise and extremely genial by nature. You are lucky, if you have an indulgent boss. The only problem is that you may not make swift progress in your career because you do not get enough chances to prove your worth. The policy to follow is to wait and watch. Handled tactfully, the indulgent boss can be made to bend his rule and pass on some responsibilities. Count your blessings and work towards establishing the faith required for him to delegate. Make yourself indispensable.

The bullying boss:

A bullying boss is aggressive by nature. The tough boss allows no room for error. He has a strong need to control and intimidate others. He is a highly emotional person. He is not likely to allow anyone to have his say or explain. He issues threats and fires subordinates. He is like a drill sergeant in his approach and his style of management thrives on terror and submission. His angry outbursts may not be justified, at times. He believes that intimidation is the best way to get the work done. Tackling a bullying boss can be an extremely tricky affair. One way to deal with the situation is to pay back in the same coin. It is risky but it is an alternative. Most often than not, bullies tend to suppress those who do not retaliate; showing a bit of spirit could cow them down. Be tactful and diplomatic but convey the message the your are not likely to take it lying down. However, ensure that you’re indispensable and your work is totally flawless. Good luck!

The perfect boss:

This kind of boss is rare. There was a time when there were no business schools and there were no management degrees but there were good managers. The perfect boss did exist then and some still exist, but they are getting rarer-just like the perfect employee. A perfect boss is sensitive but has his emotions under control. He is willing to coordinate plans and programs with his subordinates. He guides them with a paternal attitude and has consideration for their feelings and limitations. A perfect boss lends psychological support to his subordinates and prizes the individual’s talents as well as abilities. He is able to read his subordinates, gauge their strengths and weaknesses and allots them the slots after careful scrutiny. He will never chastise anyone in public and will always give due respect to everyone.

A Successful Relationship

A boy was born to a couple after 11 years of marriage. They were a
loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eye. When the boy was
around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle
open. He was late for work so he asked his wife To cap the bottle
and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen,
totally forgot the matter. The boy saw the bottle and playfully went
to the bottle and fascinated by its color, drank it
all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small
dosages. When the child collapsed, the mother hurried him to the
hospital, where he died.

The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to face her husband.
When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead
child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words.

QUESTIONS:

1. what were the four words?
2. What is the implication of this story?

ANSWER:

The husband just said, "I Love You Darling."

The husband's totally unexpected reaction is proactive behavior. The
child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no
point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken
time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened.

No one is to be blamed. She had lost her only child. What she needed
at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband that is
what he gave her.

If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there
would be much fewer problems in the world. Take off all your envies,

find things are actually not as difficult as you think.

Love needs reason ???

Lady: Why do you like me..? Why do you love me?

Man: I can't tell the reason... But I really like you..

Lady: You can't even tell me the reason... how can you say you like me?
How can you say you love me?

Man : I really don't know the reason, but I can prove that I love you.

Lady: Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend's
Boyfriend can tell her why
he loves her but not you!

Man : Ok..ok!!! Erm... because you are beautiful,

because your voice is sweet,

because you are caring,

because you are loving,

because you are thoughtful,

because of your smile,

because of your every movements.

The lady felt very satisfied with the man's
Answer. Unfortunately, a few days later, the
Lady met with an accident and was in comma.
The Guy then placed a letter by her side, and
here is the content:

Darling, Because of your sweet voice that I love you...

Now can you talk? No! Therefore I cannot love
you.

Because of your care and concern that I like
you..

Now that you cannot show them, therefore I
cannot love you.

Because of your smile,

Because of your every movements that I love you..

Now can you smile? Now can you move?

No, therefore I cannot love you...

If love needs a reason, like now, there is no
reason for me to love you anymore.

Does love need a reason? NO!

Therefore, I still love you...
And love doesn't need a reason
